Source of inspiration? Everyday moments imbued with memories, knowledge from research and experience, from unfulfilled desires, from the sensitive vibrations of a little happiness. Has your experience in the Fashion industry influenced your development as an artist? Fashion has given me an invaluable material of experiences, knowledge and inspiration to my art work. What are you currently working on?

Now I am working on my next solo exhibition soon to be announced. Also, with MOMus contemporary art museum in Thessaloniki we are designing the installation of the film performative project IDENTITY IN BETWEEN. This is a collective project by RUNONART NPO, directed by me in collaboration with five female greek artists Tzeni Argyriou, Marianna Kavallieratos, Virginia Mastrogiannaki, Maria Sideri and Eliza Soroga. We have been working on this for a year and our short documentaries will be exposed as an installation in a special exhibition with opening on 24th of June until 26th of September. What is RUNONART and what is its main objective?

Run On Art is a non-profit organization, aspiring to support the production of contemporary Greek-Cypriot art, to promote interdisciplinary and cross-border collaboration and to promote with pioneering means the Greek-Cypriot artistic work in new audiences across the world, inviting artists and spectators to actively participate in the joint formulation of a different creative and social milieu. What would you like to see more of in the contemporary art scene of Cyprus?
